  • Members of the Board of Trustees are elected annually for staggered terms of three years.
  • The Trustees engage a professional property management company that has the responsibility to select vendors and employees to maintain the property.
  • The Trust is responsible for maintenance of the condominium common area including the Meetinghouse, wastewater treatment facility, stone walls, lighting, streets, walkways, and landscaping.
  • Communication to home owners is principally by e-mail and through the Highland Meadows website.
  • When needed, homeowners may use service providers of their own choice or request a recommendation from the property manager.
  • Property Management employees may be contacted for limited assistance by homeowners.
  • Consistent with the Trust’s policies and procedures, homeowners are free to add annuals or perennials to the planting beds adjacent to their home.
  • Telecommunications and TV services are available from both Comcast and Verizon.
  • The Meetinghouse is available to residents and their guest. So in addition to enjoying resident social and fitness activities, residents may reserve the Meetinghouse for private use for a fee.
  • Use of the Tennis Court is available for residents and their guests without charge.
  • Reserves for maintenance and replacement of the common areas and the exterior of houses are included in the monthly condominium fee.
  • Special Assessments have occurred rarely because of weather related issues determined by unanticipated snowfall or weather-related plant damage.
  • The Trust maintains a Master Insurance Policy to cover the structures at the Condominium.
